Every big job we take on around Frederick depends on a team where each person has a specific role. Our crews bring together climbers, rigging specialists, equipment operators, and arborists, and the work only goes smoothly when all of them are in sync.
The arborist's assessment shapes the plan: which limbs come first, where the weak wood is, and whether the tree can be saved at all. Climbers work up in the canopy making the cuts, while the rigging team controls every piece on its way down. On the ground, operators run the chipper and heavy equipment and keep the work zone clear and safe.
Constant communication ties it all together. Before the first cut, the whole crew walks the site and agrees on drop zones and signals, and nobody moves a load until everyone is ready. That coordination is what lets us work safely over homes, barns, and power lines on properties of every size.
Have you ever stopped to watch a tree crew work in your neighborhood? What surprised you most?
