Today we take a moment to remember.
Memorial Day means a lot of different things to a lot of people. For us, it means thinking about the men and women who never made it home, and the families who have carried that loss ever since. Chattanooga is a community with deep roots in military history, and that weight is felt here.
We're grateful to work and live in a place shaped by the sacrifice of others. The neighborhoods we serve, the trees we care for, the families we get to help, none of it happens without the freedom others paid for.
To every Gold Star family, to every veteran, and to every person carrying the memory of someone who served: thank you. Today belongs to them.
