National Arbor Day: Growing Chattanooga's Future

Post Copy

Today is National Arbor Day, and we're celebrating the trees that make Chattanooga, Signal Mountain, Hixson, Red Bank, and our entire region more beautiful and healthier to live in. Trees give us shade, clean air, wildlife habitat, and genuine peace of mind on our properties.

Hannes de Wet grew up in this community. He built Tree Worx here because he cares about these trees and the neighborhoods they're part of. Whether it's careful pruning to help a tree thrive, removing a hazardous one to make room for new growth, or planting native species to strengthen our urban forest, every action counts.

This Arbor Day, we're grateful for the trees in your care and honored to help protect and maintain them. If you're thinking about tree planting, care, or removal this spring, now is the time to take action. What's your favorite tree in Chattanooga, and what does it mean to your property and neighborhood?
