Root Barrier Installation Protects San Antonio Sidewalks and Foundations From Live Oak Roots

Post Copy

Live oak roots are aggressive, and in older San Antonio neighborhoods they are a common cause of cracked sidewalks, driveways, and even foundation stress close to the house.

A root barrier installed along the problem area redirects root growth downward and away from concrete instead of removing a mature, valuable tree to solve the problem.

It is usually far less expensive than replacing a damaged sidewalk or repairing a foundation, and it protects the tree at the same time, which is a better outcome for the whole property.

Have you noticed any lifting or cracking near a tree on your property?
