Oak Wilt: Know the Signs

Post Copy

Oak wilt is a serious threat to San Antonio's live oaks. The disease spreads fast, and an infected tree can decline rapidly. The key to managing oak wilt is early detection and swift action.

Signs of oak wilt include: browning or yellowing of leaves progressing inward, premature leaf drop, wilting despite adequate water, or dark streaking under the bark. If you see these symptoms on any of your oaks, call immediately for a professional assessment.

Texas Tree Authority specializes in oak wilt diagnosis and treatment. We've helped dozens of San Antonio homeowners and property managers preserve their trees through early intervention. Call for a free estimate.
