August and September mark the most active stretch of hurricane season on the Gulf Coast, and the trees on your property right now are the ones that will be tested when the next storm system moves through.
This is the point in the season to double-check what spring pruning may have missed: dead or hanging limbs, canopies that have grown dense enough to catch more wind than they should, and any trees that have shown new signs of lean or stress since early summer.
Palms and live oaks each carry their own risk factors this time of year, and a quick assessment can catch what is easy to miss from the ground. Waiting until a storm is in the forecast often means the earliest appointment slots are already gone.
A pre-storm check now is far less disruptive than an emergency call after the fact.

Authentic job photo preferred: a crew assessing or trimming a tree ahead of storm season, or a photo highlighting a palm or live oak being inspected on a Pinellas County property. Real, timely job photos are strongly preferred over generic storm stock images.
