How We Scope a Cybersecurity Assessment Before Recommending Any Changes

Post Copy

We don't start a cybersecurity assessment by pushing a list of products. We start by understanding what a business actually has, what it's trying to protect, and what its risk tolerance looks like.

That means reviewing existing infrastructure, current policies, and how data actually moves through the business day to day, not just running a scan and handing over a report full of findings.

The assessment findings shape the recommendations that follow, prioritized by actual risk rather than a generic list every client gets regardless of their situation.

It's a slower start than some clients expect, but it means the changes we recommend afterward are ones that actually fit the business, not a template applied across the board.

When you've had a security assessment done before, did the recommendations feel specific to your business or more like a standard checklist?
