There's a common belief among growing businesses that cybersecurity is something you address after you've scaled. The reality is that the growth phase is often when businesses are most vulnerable, because systems and processes are expanding faster than the security practices around them.
More employees means more devices, more accounts, more access points, and more chances for a weak link to develop. A breach that takes down a small operation for a few days can do lasting damage to a business that's in the middle of growing, and the recovery cost is almost always higher than the prevention cost would have been.
We wrote a full piece on this on our blog that walks through what makes growing businesses a target and what the practical steps look like to get IT security right at the right time, link in the comments. If you're in a growth phase right now, it's worth a read.

A clean branded graphic with a data point from the blog post (if one is available) or a simple visual that reinforces the "security scales with your business" message. Alternatively, a professional photo of a server room or technician at work signals technical credibility. Infographic format performs well for blog summary posts on Facebook.
