Recovering From DIY Tree Work Gone Wrong

Post Copy

We fix a lot of trees that started with someone's DIY attempt. The best intentions often lead to topping, improper cuts, stripped bark, or incomplete removal that leaves behind a hazard. Once damage is done, professional recovery is the only way forward.

If you've tried tree work yourself and it didn't turn out right, don't keep living with the consequences. We can often save the tree with corrective pruning, or safely remove it if that's what's needed. The important thing is addressing it before the situation gets worse.

Have you tackled any tree work yourself that didn't go as planned?
