What Happens During a Professional Tree Trimming Visit

Post Copy

Tree trimming looks simple from the ground, but a professional visit involves more planning than most homeowners expect. Before any cutting starts, a trained eye is looking at branch structure, weight distribution, and which limbs are actually causing a problem versus which ones just look messy.

The goal isn't to take off as much as possible, it's to remove what's dead, crossing, or structurally weak while keeping the tree's natural shape and health intact. Over-trimming can stress a tree just as much as neglecting it entirely.

Once the cutting is done, cleanup is part of the job, not an extra step. Branches, debris, and even small twigs get cleared so the yard looks better than it did before we arrived.

Has it been a while since your trees had a proper trim, or are you not sure what actually needs to come off?
