Plant Health Care Gives Stressed Upstate Trees a Path Forward Before Removal Is the Only Option

Post Copy

Not every struggling tree needs to come down. Thin canopies, small pale leaves, early leaf drop, and scattered dieback are often signs of stress that can be treated, especially when they are caught early. That is what our Plant Health Care service is built for.

Upstate trees deal with a lot: heavy red clay that compacts easily, dry stretches late in the growing season, construction near their roots, and pests that take advantage of weakened trees. Our Certified Arborists start by figuring out what is actually driving the decline, then build a plan around it. That can include soil improvement, targeted fertilization, root zone mulching, and treatment for insects or disease when they are part of the problem.

The goal is simple: keep valuable shade trees healthy and standing for as long as they can safely stay. Removal is always an option we will be honest about when a tree is beyond saving, but in many cases a little care at the right time buys a tree years, or even decades, more.

Is there a tree on your property that has looked a little tired the last couple of seasons?
