Early fall is prime time for seeding fescue lawns across Greenville, Greer, and Spartanburg County. If an old stump has been sitting in the middle of your yard, this is the season it really gets in the way. You can't seed over it, the mower has to dodge it, and it leaves a bare patch right where you want grass.
Our stump grinding service takes the stump down below grade, so the area can be topped with soil and seeded along with the rest of the lawn. Before any grinding starts, our crew checks for irrigation lines, buried utilities, and nearby landscaping, and sets up guards to keep chips from flying toward windows, cars, or people. Safety comes first on even the smallest job.
Grinding also removes a home for fungi and wood-boring insects that tend to move into decaying stumps. The result is a cleaner, more usable yard and one less thing to work around every weekend.
Is there a stump in your yard you've been mowing around for longer than you'd like to admit?

An authentic before/after of a stump ground below grade in a real Upstate yard, ideally with the area raked smooth and ready for topsoil and seed. Real job photos strongly preferred over stock.
