Representation in remodeling and construction has been slow to change, and a lot of women in the field still find themselves as the only woman at the table, whether that's a bid meeting, a job site walkthrough, or an industry conference. NARI Atlanta's Women in Construction subgroup was built to change that dynamic for our members.
The subgroup brings together women working across design, construction management, skilled trades, and business ownership within our chapter for regular meetups, informal mentorship, and a space to talk candidly about the specific challenges of building a career or a business in a male-dominated field.
