Being one of the only women on a job site, in a bid meeting, or at an industry event is a familiar experience for a lot of women working in remodeling and construction. NARI Atlanta's Women in Construction subgroup exists to make sure that experience comes with a network attached.
The group brings together women members across design, construction management, trades, and business ownership for regular meetups, mentorship connections, and a space to talk through challenges that are specific to being a woman in a male-dominated industry.
It's one of several ways chapter membership goes beyond a directory listing, connecting members with people who genuinely understand the day-to-day of their work.
