Stump Grinding After a Removal: Reclaiming Yard Space in Littleton and Lakewood

Post Copy

A stump left behind after a tree removal takes up space, trips up mowers, and can keep sending up suckers for years.

Many ash, elm, and cottonwood removals in Littleton and Lakewood leave stumps that homeowners would rather forget about. Grinding takes the stump below grade so the area can be regraded, reseeded, or turned into a planting bed.

Fall is a good time for this work before the ground freezes. Grinding now means the spot is ready for sod, seed, or a new tree when spring arrives.

Our crews use equipment sized for tight backyards and side yards, protect nearby lawn and hardscape, and handle cleanup afterward. Wood chips and grindings are recycled rather than sent to a landfill, in keeping with our eco-friendly approach across Southwest Denver.
