1-inch pipe isn't 1 inch. It's about 1.315 inches outside.
Pipe is sized by nominal size and schedule. Tube is sized by true outside diameter and wall. Mix them up and parts won't fit together.
Bring your old part or measurements to our Marietta counter and we'll match it before cutting. Link in bio.

Authentic side-by-side photo of a length of Schedule 40 pipe and a length of round tube with a tape measure or calipers across the ends, shot at the Marietta location. A carousel showing the two cross-sections works well on Instagram. Real photos strongly preferred over stock. No Google Drive image folder is set up for this client yet, so request a real photo from the Marietta location.
