Deer Season Brings Trailer Repairs, Shooting House Frames, and Gambrel Racks to the Marietta Counter

Post Copy

With deer season underway across Georgia, a familiar mix of fall projects shows up at our Marietta location. Hunters and the welders who build for them come in for trailer tongue and fender repairs, angle iron for ATV racks, square tubing for gambrel and skinning racks, and tubing and channel for shooting house frames. Many of these are one-off builds, which is exactly where no minimum order makes sense.

Material choice matters for anything that sits out in a Georgia field all season. Galvanized or well-painted steel holds up better than bare mild steel for racks and frames left outdoors, aluminum keeps a game cart or ladder light enough to carry in, and expanded metal or bar grating makes a solid, drainable floor for platforms and trailer decks.

We cut everything to your list so the pieces are ready to weld when you get back to the shop or the camp, and our bilingual team can help you sort out sizes and wall thickness if you're not sure. What's on your build list before opening morning?

Image / Media Suggestion

Authentic photo of a customer's finished hunting-season build: a repaired utility trailer, a gambrel or skinning rack, or a shooting house frame made from tubing and angle. A shot of square tubing and angle on the Marietta racks also works. Real photos strongly preferred over stock. No Google Drive image folder is set up for this client yet, so request a real photo from the Marietta location.
