Yellowing Inner Needles on White Pines Are Normal Fall Needle Drop, Not a Dying Tree

Post Copy

Yellow pine needles right now? Look at where they are.

Pines across Gloucester County shed their oldest inner needles every fall while the tips stay green. Inside-out and even is normal. Brown tips, bare branches, or oozing resin are not.

Image / Media Suggestion

Real close-up of a white pine or other local pine showing yellow interior needles with green tips, ideally with the brown needle carpet visible underneath. A wider shot of a pine row along a property line works too. Authentic photos from local jobs strongly preferred over stock images.
