A Ground-Level Stump Left Behind Can Still Damage a Lawn Mower Blade Two Years Later

Post Copy

A stump that has been cut flush to the ground still has a root system underneath that can push up, shift, and create an uneven surface long after the tree itself is gone. It is one of the most overlooked hazards on a property after a removal.

Stump grinding takes the stump down below grade so the area can be reseeded, mulched, or landscaped over without a hidden obstacle waiting under the surface. It also removes a spot that would otherwise attract termites and other wood-boring insects over time.

We offer stump grinding as a standalone service or paired with a full removal, so the job is not really finished until the ground is level and usable again.

Do you have an old stump sitting in your yard from a tree that came down a while back?
