Identifying Dead Wood in Your Trees

Post Copy

Dead wood is a safety issue that should never be ignored. A dead branch can fail and drop at any time, especially after wind or heavy rain. Here's what to look for on your property:

Dead branches have no buds or green growth, the bark peels off easily, and they're gray or brown and brittle. Scratch the bark with your fingernail — if you don't see green wood underneath, it's dead. Removing dead wood improves your tree's health and protects your home and property.

If you spot dead wood on your property, let us inspect it. Greg personally assesses every property and gives you a free estimate on what needs to be done. We serve Gloucester County and surrounding areas with professional tree care and spotless cleanup. Call (856) 816-1475 today.
