Sometimes a tree isn't unhealthy or dangerous, it's just in the wrong spot. A pool addition, a new driveway, or a remodel can put a perfectly healthy tree directly in the way of a project, and removal feels like the only option.
Relocation is often the better answer, especially for a tree that's taken years to reach its current size. Moving it to another spot on the property, or even to a different property, keeps that growth instead of starting over with a young sapling that won't provide real shade or presence for years.
It's not the right call for every tree. Size, root structure, and species all factor into whether a move will actually succeed. We assess that before recommending relocation over removal.
