Eighty years ago, Mortimer and Frances Lopez started General Tree Service, Inc. with a belief that Bakersfield deserved a tree care company with real expertise and personal accountability.
That belief has been passed on. The Lopez family has been part of this community for generations, and the work done in Bakersfield, Arvin, Delano, Tehachapi, and throughout Kern County reflects that investment in the people and places we've always been part of.
What hasn't changed: family and minority owned, fully invested in Bakersfield and Kern County, combining the experience of 80+ years with modern arboricultural science. What we've added: ISA-certified expertise, expanded equipment, and a wholesale large tree nursery serving residential and commercial clients.
