An ISA certification isn't a one-time diploma. To keep the credential, an ISA Certified Arborist has to keep learning, earning continuing education credits on everything from tree biology and pruning science to rigging and safety. The ISA Tree Risk Assessor qualification has its own renewal requirements, too.
At Franklin Tree Service, we treat that as part of the job, not a chore. Tree care keeps changing. Research on pruning cuts, treatment options for pests like emerald ash borer, and better rigging methods all show up first in the classes and workshops that keep our credentials current, and what we learn there ends up on your property.
It also fits how this business started: a trade learned by watching, asking, and doing the work alongside someone who knew more. Staying a student is part of setting a high standard, and it is why we are comfortable explaining the reason behind every recommendation we make.
What's a skill from your own line of work that you've had to relearn because the best way of doing it changed? #FranklinTN #ISACertified
