S-Shaped Tunnels Under the Bark Are the Telltale Sign of Emerald Ash Borer

Post Copy

Emerald ash borer has been working through Middle Tennessee's ash trees for years. Watch for thinning canopy, split bark, and tiny D-shaped exit holes.

Caught early, some ash trees can be treated and saved. Caught late, removal is usually the only safe option.

Do you have an ash tree that hasn't had a close look lately?
