Emerald Ash Borer: What to Look for on Your Ash Trees This Season

Post Copy

Emerald Ash Borer has confirmed pressure in Middle Tennessee, and ash tree owners need to know the signs.

Look for canopy thinning from the top down, D-shaped exit holes in the bark, S-shaped galleries under the bark surface, and unusual woodpecker activity on the trunk. EAB is treatable when caught early. Once the canopy is more than half gone, options narrow quickly.

Franklin Tree Service offers EAB assessments and treatment programs across Williamson County. Free estimate at the link in bio. #FranklinTN #TreeCare #EmeraldAshBorer #Arborist

Image / Media Suggestion

A clear, close-up photo of EAB damage: D-shaped exit holes, bark galleries, or a thinning ash canopy. A labeled educational graphic works well if authentic job photos aren't available. Carousel format (signs of EAB, what to do, when to call) drives saves on Instagram.
