Emerald Ash Borer has confirmed pressure across Middle Tennessee, and ash tree owners in Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, and Williamson County need to take action this season.
EAB is treatable when caught early. The warning signs include canopy thinning from the top down, D-shaped exit holes in the bark, S-shaped feeding galleries under the bark, and above-average woodpecker activity on the trunk. Once a tree loses more than half its canopy, treatment options narrow significantly.
Franklin Tree Service is an ISA Certified Arborist firm offering EAB assessments and treatment programs for ash trees across Williamson County. Request your free estimate at franklintree.com or call (615) 866-7056.
