An on-site assessment showed the tree's root system was still sound and the lean had stabilized rather than worsened. Instead of taking the tree down, our arborists installed a support cable system to reduce stress on the trunk and limit further movement.
The homeowner kept a mature tree that shaded the driveway and added real value to the property, while addressing the actual safety concern rather than defaulting to the most drastic option.
Not every leaning or aging tree needs to come down. Sometimes the right call is a targeted fix that preserves what's already grown for decades.
