Three Generations In, the Lessons That Started at a Grandfather's Side Still Guide Every Job

Post Copy

Crass Tree Experts may be a young company on paper, but the work started long before the name went on the truck. Tree care in our family goes back three generations, and our founder first learned the trade at twelve years old, working right alongside his grandfather.

Some of the most important lessons from those early days were never written down. Read the tree before you touch it. Respect the people who live with it. Leave a property better than you found it. And never rush a cut just to finish a job sooner, because a tree takes decades to grow and only seconds to damage.

Those lessons still shape how we work across Baltimore County and York County today. They are why we take the time to walk a property with you, why we explain what we see in plain language, and why we treat every tree as part of a home and a community, not just a job on the schedule.

Who taught you the skill you are most proud of? We would love to hear about the people who passed something down to you.
