A structurally weak tree doesn't always need to come down. Cabling and bracing can support a split trunk, a heavy lean, or a weak branch union so a mature tree stays safe for years to come.
We install these support systems on shade trees throughout Baltimore County and York County, most often on oaks and maples with co-dominant trunks or limbs that have outgrown their natural attachment point. The hardware sits quietly in the canopy, taking pressure off the vulnerable spot without changing the tree's appearance from the ground.
Not every tree is a candidate. A proper assessment looks at the extent of decay and the direction of the lean before recommending cabling over removal, because the goal is a tree that's genuinely safe, not just supported on paper.
Our team has three generations of hands-on arboriculture behind every recommendation we make for property owners across the region.
