Tree Planting 101: Getting New Trees Off to the Right Start

Post Copy

Early spring is the perfect window to plant trees in East Texas. A new tree planted now has months to establish roots before summer heat arrives. But there's a right way and a wrong way to do it.

Proper planting depth, appropriate species for our climate, good drainage, and a protective mulch layer all matter. Plant too deep and the tree struggles. Plant the wrong species and you're fighting an uphill battle against heat and pests. Get it right, and you've got a healthy tree for decades.

If you're thinking about adding trees to your property this spring, now's the time. Call us for advice on species, placement, and planting. It costs nothing to ask.

Are you thinking about planting any trees on your property, or looking to refresh your landscape?
