Most people don't think about fertilizing their trees. But they probably should.
Street trees and yard trees in Houston deal with compacted soil, impervious surfaces, drought stress, and root competition that trees in natural settings never face. Without support, they can become more vulnerable to disease, insects, and heat stress over time, especially heading into summer.
Tree fertilization, done properly, isn't a quick fix. It's a long-term investment in the health of trees that shade your home, reduce cooling costs, and add real value to your property. Certified arborists can assess what your trees actually need rather than applying a one-size approach.
This is one of the less visible services we offer at Champions, but honestly one of the most important for tree longevity in an urban environment like Greater Houston.
Do any of the trees on your property look like they're not quite thriving? Slower growth, off-color leaves, a thin canopy where there used to be more fullness?

Image / Media Suggestion
Authentic photo of a tree health or fertilization service in progress, an arborist applying a treatment or performing a root zone inspection. If no fertilization-specific photos are available, a close-up of a large, healthy mature tree on a residential property communicates the end result of proper care. Real job documentation preferred over stock imagery.
