A Cracked, Sinking Concrete Patio Became a Level Trex Deck With Built-In Bench Seating

Post Copy

A homeowner in North Georgia had lived with a cracked, unevenly settled concrete patio for years, the kind of surface that made outdoor furniture wobble and turned every rainstorm into standing puddles along one edge. It wasn't a space anyone wanted to spend time on.

We tore out the old slab and built a raised Trex composite deck in its place, with built-in bench seating along two sides that doubles as extra storage. The new structure solved the drainage problem completely and gave the family a level, low-maintenance space they actually use.

Before and after, the transformation is dramatic, not just cosmetically but in how the family actually lives in that part of the yard now. It went from a space to avoid to the spot where they spend most of their evenings.

Have you been putting up with an outdoor space that technically works but that you avoid using because of a problem like this?
