Most homeowners never see the permitting step of a remodel, but it's one of the most important parts of the process. Each municipality in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia has its own rules for decks, sunrooms, and outdoor structures, and getting it wrong can delay a project for weeks.
Our team handles the submission, the plan review back-and-forth, and the inspection scheduling as a normal part of every project, not an extra service. That includes knowing which jurisdictions require engineered drawings for certain structure types and which don't.
It's not the most exciting part of building something for your backyard, but skipping it or getting it wrong creates real problems down the line, from stop-work orders to resale complications. Doing it right the first time is part of what "old-school values done right" actually means to us.
Have you ever run into a permitting surprise on a home project, whether it was with us or another contractor?
