A Cumming Homeowner's Unused Concrete Patio Became a Vaulted Four-Season Sunroom

Post Copy

A recent Cumming client came to us with a plain concrete patio slab that sat empty most of the year, too hot in summer and too exposed the rest of the time. It was square footage they weren't getting any real use out of.

We built a four-season sunroom on that same footprint, adding a vaulted ceiling that made the space feel bigger than its actual dimensions and insulated glazing that keeps it comfortable through both Georgia summers and the occasional cold snap.

The homeowners now use it as a reading and morning coffee spot nearly every day, which is the real measure of success for a project like this. A space only pays off if people actually spend time in it.

Do you have an underused patio or slab at home that could become a real room instead of dead space?
