Under-Deck Systems Turn Wasted Space Beneath an Elevated Deck Into Usable Dry Space

Post Copy

Most elevated decks in Metro Atlanta sit over a patch of ground that never gets used for much of anything, dirt, gravel, maybe a few storage bins that get soaked every time it rains. An under-deck system changes that by capturing the water that drains through the deck boards above and channeling it away, turning the space underneath into dry, usable square footage.

Homeowners end up with a covered patio, an outdoor storage area, or even a second seating space they didn't have before, all without adding a single new structure to the property. It's one of the more overlooked ways to get more living space out of a backyard that already has a deck.

For a lot of homes we work on, the space under the deck ends up getting used more than the deck itself once it's dry and finished.

Do you have space under your deck right now that's basically going to waste?
