Plant health care: what it actually includes and when your trees need it

Post Copy

Tree removal and trimming get most of the attention, but plant health care is one of the most valuable things we do for trees that homeowners want to keep.

Plant health care is a proactive approach to tree management: our ISA Certified Arborists assess the tree's overall health, identify any disease, pest, or nutrient issues, and recommend targeted treatments based on what that specific tree actually needs. This might mean deep root fertilization to address soil deficiencies, an insect or disease treatment for a tree showing early signs of infection, or simply a monitoring program to catch problems before they escalate.

In the Denver metro, Emerald Ash Borer continues to affect ash trees throughout the region. Early treatment is highly effective; waiting until visible crown decline sets in is usually too late. If you have ash trees on your Englewood, Denver, or Littleton property, now is a good time to have them assessed.
