How ArborSafe Evaluates a Leaning Tree: When Lean Is a Hazard and When It's Just the Way the Tree Grew

Post Copy

Leaning tree in your yard? It's not automatically a problem, but it is worth understanding.

When our arborists evaluate a lean, they examine the root plate for soil movement, assess how long the lean has been present, consider the species and its natural growth habit, and weigh the direction of the lean against nearby structures. A stable, long-established lean and a freshly shifted tree after a storm are two very different situations.

Removal isn't always the answer. An honest assessment is the first step. Link in bio to schedule yours.
