Holiday Travel Plans Are Being Made Now, and So Should Care Coverage for a Loved One Staying Home

Post Copy

If your family is already booking Thanksgiving and December travel, it's a good moment to think about a loved one who won't be making the trip. Maybe Mom prefers to stay home, or the family caregiver who usually checks in every day will be out of town for a week.

Planning ahead makes a real difference. Holidays are a busy season for home care, and setting up coverage a few weeks early gives us time to match your loved one with a consistent caregiver and introduce them before you leave. That way the holiday visits feel familiar, not like a stranger showing up at the door.

Coverage can be as simple as a few daytime shifts for meals, medication reminders, and companionship, or round-the-clock care while you're away. Our care coordinators are reachable 24/7, so you can enjoy your trip knowing someone is checking in and can reach you if anything changes.

Warm, seasonal photo of a caregiver and client sharing tea or looking at a holiday card at home, or a family calendar with travel dates circled. Avoid showing client faces without consent. Authentic photos of the Advantage team are strongly preferred; if using stock, choose warm, candid, diverse imagery. No client photos without written consent.
