Long before he owned Advantage, Daniel Levy experienced a near-fatal injury at 19 that changed how he thought about care, dignity, and what it means to depend on someone else during a hard stretch of life.
That experience is part of why, when he acquired Advantage in 2014, the mission became explicit: treat clients like members of your own family. Not a slogan, but a standard applied to hiring, training, and how caregivers are supported day to day.
Twenty years since Advantage was founded, that personal starting point still shapes decisions the company makes, from insisting on W-2 employment for caregivers to keeping an RN supervisor involved in every care plan.
Do you know the story behind the home care agency your family works with, or the people behind it?
