What the Care Assessment Process Looks Like Before Advantage Sends a First Caregiver

Post Copy

Starting home care for someone you love can feel like a big step, and we understand that. Before Advantage ever sends a caregiver through the door, we take time to truly understand your family's situation through a free, no-obligation in-home assessment.

During the assessment, our care coordinator visits the home to talk with both the client and their family. We look at the daily routine, the living environment, the level of support needed, and any specific health conditions or preferences that should shape the care plan. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is assumed.

From that conversation, we build a personalized care plan that outlines exactly what each shift will cover, from personal care and medication reminders to mobility support or companionship. Then we match the right caregiver, a state-verified CNA, to that specific plan and that specific person.

By the time care begins, your family already knows who's coming and why. If you've been wondering what getting started looks like, that conversation begins with one call. What question would help your family feel most prepared before starting in-home care?
