When Daniel Levy was 19 years old, he was in a serious accident that nearly killed him. The months that followed, recovering, navigating the healthcare system, and depending on others for the first time, gave him a perspective that most healthcare professionals never have: he understood from the inside what it means to be the person who needs care, not just the person delivering it.
That experience pointed him toward a career in home healthcare. He worked for years at Maxim Healthcare and Amedisys, learning the industry from the inside out. In 2014, when the opportunity came to acquire Advantage Private Home Care, an Atlanta agency that had been serving families since 2005, he didn't hesitate. He knew what a good agency could be, and he knew what it meant to the families who depended on it.
More than a decade later, Advantage serves families across 35 counties in Metro Atlanta. The company has earned Best of awards in six communities in 2025 alone. But Daniel will tell you that the measure that matters most isn't an award, it's the family who calls on a Friday afternoon with an emergency and gets someone on the phone, or the client who has had the same caregiver for two years and considers them a friend.
That's the kind of agency he set out to build. And it's the kind of agency Advantage is. What made you start thinking about home care for your family? We'd love to hear your story. #HomeCare #AtlantaHomeCare
A warm, professional photo of Daniel Levy if available, or a general company/team image. An outdoor or office setting works well, not clinical. If no photo of Daniel is available, a behind-the-scenes shot of the Advantage team or a branded graphic works.
