Most people call about a tree once something already looks wrong. A tree hazard assessment is a way to get ahead of that, especially before winter storms or when a large tree sits close to the house, driveway, or a neighbor's yard.
During an assessment, ACE's ISA Certified Arborist works from the ground up. We check the root zone for heaving soil, cut or damaged roots, and fungal growth, then the trunk for cavities, cracks, and lean. Up in the crown, we look for dead limbs, weak branch unions, and past storm damage, and we weigh all of that against what the tree would hit if part of it failed.
What you get is a clear, plain-language picture of each tree: what's healthy, what needs to be watched, and what should be addressed now. Removal isn't the default. Often the right recommendation is pruning, cabling, or a plant health treatment, and when removal is the right call, you'll understand exactly why.
