Every tree we remove or prune in Los Angeles generates wood debris, and where that debris ends up matters.
Rather than sending everything straight to a landfill, we chip most job site debris on-site into mulch, which either goes back to the property owner for their own landscaping or gets diverted to composting. It cuts down on hauling trips and keeps organic material out of the waste stream.
This approach fits how we think about tree care generally. Removing a tree should always be a last resort, and when it does happen, using the material responsibly is part of doing the job the right way.
